Apply to Uni UK is a practical, independent guide to applying to UK universities.
The site exists because too much university application advice is vague, overcomplicated, overly commercial, or shaped by the interests of the organisation giving it. Personal statement advice can be formulaic or out of date. University research advice is often agenda-driven, whether it comes from universities promoting themselves, agents steering applicants towards particular options, or other actors with a financial or institutional interest in the outcome.
Apply to Uni UK is the developed by Alex J Bent, author of The Personal Statement Method. Alex has supported UK university applicants since 2013, including through school-based guidance, university application support, and scholarship preparation for students from complex and challenging educational backgrounds. The aim is simple: to give applicants clear, useful guidance without hype, pressure, or unnecessary complication.
